Kim Isn't a Kardashian Anymore

It's official! Kimye is married and Kim Kardashian has changed her Twitter and Instagram names to reflect her happy union with Kanye West. Now both of her social media profiles read Kim Kardashian West. This may seem like a tiny move to some, but it's actually a big move for Kim who staunchly refused to change her name when she married Kris Humphries for 72 days. In fact the couple even got into a fight about it on Keeping Up With The Kardashians when Kim revealed she wouldn't become Kim Humphries.

But this time around she seemed eager to make the switch, and has been talking since October about her desire to change it as soon as everything became official. Although she is following in sister Khloe Kardashian's footsteps and will not drop the Kardashian name entirely. Instead she'll bump it to a middle name spot.

It's good that she's already taking the lead from Khloe, because just in case things go badly, Khloe can show her the ropes on how to un-change her social media names. When Khloe and Lamar Odom split up for good she made the switch back to her maiden name online and knows just how easy it is to go back to an old handle.

But for now the social media official Wests seem to be firmly in a marriage bliss, with Kim posting pictures of the ceremony captioned "Mr. and Mrs. Kanye West." The new couple even posed for a an Instagram pic Khloe posted wearing "Just Married" leather jackets.

So for now, all seems well with the new Mrs. Kim Kardashian West.
