What's It Like to Be a 'Game of Thrones' Extra? Welp, It's Awesome — PHOTOS

If you've ever thought, "being an extra on Game of Thrones must be awesome," you were right. Proof: this guy's pics from being a Game of Thrones extra. In addition to getting to don really cool medieval Westeros garb — this lucky fellow was a member of The King's Guard (all hail House Lannister!), you get to witness incredible events, like the literally eye-popping death of Oberyn and that notorious Purple Wedding firsthand. And what could be cooler than watching the most insane moments on television in person? Oh, maybe just taking selfies with some of the actors. Talk about the ROLE OF A LIFETIME.

Here's what he had to say on his Imgur page, where he's posted the pics:

I was an extra on Season 4 of Game of Thrones. I was assigned the role of Lannister Guard. Here are some snapshots from the show where you can see me. I was at the PW (E02), at the trial by combat (E08) and Cersei''s personal guard (E07).I also crashed the 'Yay-We're-Done-Shooting-The-Purple-Wedding' VIP party and took photos with a bunch of the cast.Best experience of my life, I can die happy now.

And fortunately for us, we have the opportunity of experiencing Westeros through the eyes of this Lannister guard. (Thanks for sharing, man!) Check out some of his pictures below, and be sure to check out the rest over here (his captions are particularly candid and funny, too).

That's him — the guard to the right behind Sansa!

Can you imagine seeing that whole thing live?

Proof the GoT cast is totally awesome.

That's Loras, acting as DJ! And of course, there's this awesome shot:

CLASSIC.
