In case you were too busy gearing up for you four-day work week and the upcoming Fourth of July holiday to notice, the 2014 BET Awards took place Sunday night. Hosted by funny man Chris Rock, the annual awards show was filled with laughs, amazing performances, and appearances by some pretty high-profile celebrities (Kerry Washington, anyone?). But let's be honest: The real action went down not on stage, but on the evening's red carpet. Filled with both sweet and sexy ensembles (oh, and a fair share of meme-worthy looks, too), the stars were dressed to impress in a lineup of tame and revealing numbers that you won't soon forget. Making only her second post-baby appearance, the Scandal star looked flawless (as always) in a darling floral-print, strapless dress, which she paired with bouncy waves and chic white pumps.
Sexy: Zendaya Coleman
What do you get when you cross a flat-billed hat and bomber jacket with a thigh-high slit and barely-there bralette? A tomboyish look that screams smoking hot, too.
Safe: Gabrielle Union
Aside from the little peek of skin between her dramatic slit and thigh-high boots, the actress kept it casual-cool in her draped black and white number.
