This Photo Shoot Is Really The #CutestShootEver

by Tyler Atwood

If you haven't reached your adorable quota for today, pick up a copy of Lucky Magazine 's latest issue and you may be in for an overdose, thanks to the publication's "Animal House" spread. The shopping magazine describes the animal-filled fashion shoot with the label "Fashion's Favorite Pets Model The Season's Coolest Accessories", but really, no one is paying attention to the trendy accoutrements. Emily Weiss's well-groomed feline sits next to a milk carton purse and fixates on a mouse-shaped clutch in one shot, while another features a green parrot named Jitterbug perched next to an equally vibrant clutch and statement necklace. America's favorite Grumpy Cat lends her signature scowl to Anya Hindmarch's Smiley Hadlow clutch, and in perhaps the most endearing image of the lot, a Shibu Inu with the Instagram label Mensweardog rocks some patent leather kicks and a suit. Seem oddly familiar? Perhaps the shoot evokes deja-vu due to Vogue's "The Cat and The Flat" spread, which encouraged consumers to adopt kittens while simultaneously promoting the most glamorous footwear of the season.

It appears that combining quirky animals and couture is rapidly approaching trend territory, and far be it for anyone to complain. With the well-deserved trending Twitter hashtag #CutestShootEver, Lucky's quirky spread gives readers a fashionable reminder that elegance is everything; as the shoot proves, even our feline friends look better suited up.
