New, Adorable Addition to the 'Frat Pack' Arrives

by Rachel Simon

It seems Vince Vaughn takes his movies very seriously — the star of November's Delivery Man, about a guy who unknowingly fathers over 500 children, has just welcomed a second child with his wife, Kyla, according to People.

Vernon Lindsay Vaughn, named after the actor's father, was born Wednesday, Aug. 7, and at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and 21 inches long, he's bound to take after his 6'5" dad. The Vaughns, who are already parents to a 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Locklyn Kyla, had announced back in April that they were expecting a second child.

Congratulations to the happy family! Vaughn is hardly the first of his "Frat Pack" crew (seriously, it's a thing) to prove his life off-screen is way more adult than his movies suggests; Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Steve Carell, and Owen Wilson are all fathers, and Luke Wilson, the sole childless member of the group, has been in a serious relationship for five years.

Give it a few years, and Vernon will undoubtedly be joining Ella and Quinn (Stiller), Sammy and Thomas (Black), Robert (Wilson), Magnus, Mattius and Axel (Ferrell), and Annie and Johnny (Carell) to form a mini-frat pack of their own.

Now, for the real question — how often will Vaughn tell baby Vernon to "earmuff it?"
