She's a Born-Again Virgin — Sorry, Roger

by Nicole Fabian-Weber

You gotta love the woman for never holding anything back. Jenni "JWoww" Farley recently said that it'll be at least another "year or two" before she has sex again after the traumatic birth she experienced. During an interview with HuffPost Live to promote her new film Jersey Shore Massacre (yes, that's an actual "movie"), Farley admitted that, being that it's only been five weeks since the birth of her daughter, Meilani, she and her fiance, Roger Mathews, still haven't done the deed — and much to Mathews' chagrin, the deed won't be happening for a while. "My vagina's back to normal," Farley said. "[But] it's like virgin status. [Roger]'s like, 'Come on!' I'm like, 'No, I was stitched, you've got to wait!'"

Most new moms aren't super eager to jump back in the sack with their significant others, being that, you know, they just grew a human being inside of them, pushed them out of their vagina, and are now caring for said human being 24 hours a day. But in Farley's case, it's doubly understandable why she she's still a little ooked out by sex: Her birth sounded awful. Apparently, she was in between epidurals and alone in the room (save for Mathews) when her daughter decided to make her debut. If anything has ever been worthy of a "no thanks," I think this is it. No thanks.

So, yeah. Totally understandable why Farley would like a nice, lengthy buffer until she gets it on with Mathews again. And serious props to the Jersey Shore star for telling it like it is. It's OK to not want to hop back in the swing of things shortly after becoming a mom. She and Mathews seem like they have a great relationship, but there's nothing wrong with not wanting to have sex with him for a while after what she went through — even if it is a year or two.
