Jennifer Lawrence & Chris Martin's Vineyard Date Should Be Followed By These Romantic Film Dates
I don't know about you, but I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the concept of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin as a couple. It's more difficult to do since there are no pictures of the two of them together just yet and neither of them have come forward with a confirmation, which means not only is it an incredibly unusual pairing but I can't even see it happening with my own eyes. However, while the rest of the world is still trying to understand how this happened, Lawrence and Martin's relationship is allegedly heating up. A few days before her birthday, Lawrence and Martin went on a vineyard date, according to an E! Online source, and if that's not the most romantic thing in the world then I don't know what is.
"They were there on a date," said the source of Lawrence and Martin's afternoon trip to the Wolffer Estate Vineyard. "They were very low-key, nobody realized who they were... The setting was super-romantic. They watched the sun go down together, then quietly left." Martin and Lawrence went to a vineyard and watched the sunset together? I'll admit, that's not the kind of date that I would expect Lawrence to go on, but that is crazy romantic. And crazy adorable. And just crazy considering this is J. Law and Coldplay's Chris Martin that are consciously coupling here.
However, I'm willing to roll with it. Lawrence is fresh from a break up with Nicholas Hoult, the second time the pair have split amicably, and Martin just got out of an 11 year marriage with Gwyneth Paltrow. Both of them, as well as their exes, deserve to find happiness. And if they're looking for other date ideas that seem like they could have come straight out of a film, I have some suggestions.
The Lady & the Tramp Date
Think about it. Pasta with one particularly long piece of linguine. Sharing the last meatball. Being serenaded under the stars. Now that's bella notte.
The Parent Trap Date
If this wasn't your exact idea of romance as a kid, then I don't know what to say to you. Bonus points if "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole is playing while they're there.
The 10 Things I Hate About You Date
Oh, am I the only one who thought that paintball sequence looked like the most fun date ever? Just me? Okay, bye...
