Everyone Watched Kim Getting Married

Make a mental note now: If you ever see someone saying that they don't, and absolutely don't, watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, they are probably lying. In fact, they probably even play Kim Kardashian's iPhone Game, based on how much that thing is making a day. How do I know this? Ratings, my friend — cold, hard numbers. Just take a look at Keeping Up With the Kardashians ' season finale ratings, which was the episode that consisted of Kim and Kanye West's insane wedding in Italy (from TV By the Numbers ):

As one of cable’s biggest shows, the two-part season nine finale of “Keeping Up With Kardashians” – featuring the family’s events leading up to the wedding of Kim Kardashian – reached 5.8 million total unique viewers on August 31 (9-10:30 pm) and September 1 (9-10 pm). Sunday’s premiere hit season highs across key demos, including Total Viewers (2.8 Million), Adults 18-49 (1.9 Million) and Adults 18-34 (1.2 Million), increasing roughly +10% over the 9th season opener with Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

That's crazy — like, nearly 6 million people tuned in to watch Kimmy get married, because even if they say they don't care, they care. That's why this show does so well. And there's more!:

This airing also marked the most-watched original episode in over a year among Total Viewers (August 2013) and most-watched among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 since the 8th season premiere (June 2013).

So, yeah, basically, Keeping Up With the Kardashians is probably never gonna get cancelled. And it's all on us, the viewers, who keep coming back for more. NO REGRETS.
