They're Selling Their Mansion

by Nicole Fabian-Weber

Not long before they're slated to appear in court to learn their fate, Teresa and Joe Giudice listed their New Jersey mansion for $3.99 million. The Giudices did a ton of work on the house, almost doubling it in size, but their price seems a wee bit steep, being that they bought it in 2002 for $530,000. What do I know, though? I'm no realtor. However, I am a seasoned Real Housewives of New Jersey fan, so I feel it's okay for me to speak on the strange timing of the Giudices listing their home. Now, guys... really?

Clearly, the couple is trying to get their ducks in a row, and make some cash before one, or both, of them are shipped off to the slammer in the upcoming weeks. But, if one, or both, of them are shipped off to the slammer — won't it be a little weird for their daughters to be in a new house at the same time? I mean, the family has to do what they have to do, but so much change for the girls all at once. It's hard not to feel bad for the young Giudices.

Also, I feel like we need to address the elephant in the room for a quick sec: anyone else find it a little eery that the psychic who Teresa saw on the show, James Van Praagh, has now correctly predicted two out of three things. The first was that Joe Giudice's father would pass away, which he did; the second was that they'd list their house — check; and the third was that Joe might not get off so easily, so... yeah. Guess we'll have to wait to see how everything pans out. If I were a Giudice, though, I'd be a little freaked out.
