BEHOLD! Kendall in Bejeweled Bloomers at Dolce

At the very moment, the reigning equivalent of "Where's Waldo" in the fashion world seems to be "Where's Kendall?" Kendall Jenner has been popping up here, there, and everywhere in the S/S 2015 Ready to Wear shows. The satisfaction of finding her amongst the glamorous giraffes parading down each runway is almost as gratifying as solving a Magic Eye puzzle. This morning, Kendall Jenner walked in Dolce and Gabbana's S/S 2015 show in Milan. Despite some mean-girl sentiment allegedly being directed at Jenner by her fellow models, she sashayed and chantayed down that runway with aplomb. What's more, she wore some pearl-encrusted briefs that look like the nightmare pajamas of someone who enjoys sleeping on their stomach... like me, for instance.

On Sunday, Dolce & Gabbana showed a collection fit for a 16th Century member of the Spanish Monarchy. Or, you know, a matador. A collection of gold-plated crowns festooned with roses, capes of red and white floral brocade, and boleros studded with jewels the size of the hope diamond formed a crystal-clear thesis: "Neither Dolce nor Gabbana will dial down the bling for any living soul!!" Clearly, the tax evasion debacle that the Italian pair ran into last year hasn't tempered their propensity for excess.

Jenner appeared twice in the duration of the show. A fit-and-flare black velvet dress with long mesh sleeves accented with red rosettes was her first look. If Lorde and Frida Kahlo collaborated on a fashion line, all of their frocks would look like this.

For the final walk, all of the show's models marched down the runway in the same ensemble: a starched tuxedo shirt tucked into a pair of high-waisted red satin bloomers, embellished with pearls and jewels, and embroidered with roses. Cue the stampede of haute wildebeests!

Jenner appeared at the forefront of the throng, third from the right. While her expression said "Fashion, glamour, fierce," my expression said "Oh, HAYY!"

There you have it, folks. Kendall Jenner is Deputy General of Dolce and Gabbana's glamorous army of models. Ten, hut!
