Teresa Giudice Sentenced, Not to Jail Time, But to Something Just as Unbelievable

I'm not quite sure how or why this wasn't done earlier, but it's about damn time. Apparently, Teresa Giudice's lawyers want her to shut it down in terms of her social media presence before her and husband, Joe Giudice's, October court date — mainly, the attorneys don't want the Real Housewives of New Jersey star using Twitter. So, in a weird way, Teresa just got her first sentence: she's to remain off of Twitter for a few weeks. How will she do it?! How will her daughters fare?!

I'm kidding, of course, but evidently, the RHONJ star's lawyers are furious that she paraded around a $2,000 Valentino bag on a recent episode of her reality show. (Not a good look if you're looking at 40-some-odd counts of fraud.) Basically, her team wants her to keep as low a profile as possible until she appears in court on October 2. They, rightfully, feel that her behavior on social media and fame in general could hurt her and wind up swaying the judge one way or another.

At the time of writing this, Teresa hasn't tweeted anything since Monday, but she did Instagram something today: a photo of her daughter, Audriana, looking cute at gymnastics. Playing the parenting card, eh, Teresa? Hey, I guess if social media can hurt her, it can help her, as well.
