Katy Perry Has Pink Hair Now — Like Animal From 'The Muppets' Pink
Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have this epic-and-unspoken-but-everyone-knows-it's-them pop diva feud. While Perry and Swift are throwing shade, Perry's real battle has zero to do with music and everything to do with hair and style. Katy Perry dyed her hair pink and now rivals Demi Lovato as the celeb with the most drastic hair changes. Lovato's locks have been every color of the rainbow and she even has her own hair extensions line. But Perry is equally as daring with her strands. She went pink. Like Animal from The Muppets pink. Hey, at least she went with a musical Muppet, who happens to be the cutest and most adorkable of the crew.
I am surprised that Perry has any real hair left considering how often and how drastically she dyes it, enduring what has to be a triple process that pretty much, you know, kills hair's health and shine. But her style squad works overtime keeps her locks as conditioned as they can.
Perry, who opted for somewhat questionable slime green hair in the spring, showed off her hair inspo on IG. She called it "Play-Doh pink." Even the roughed up texture reminds me of Animal's fur.
Katy Cats, are you read for Perry's latest hair transformation? Wait for it, wait for it... NOW!
It looks good on her. But she has gone pink prior.
Once, it was a juicy watermelon shade.
She also rocked an ombre, "I'm growing this s--t out" cotton candy x blonde pink one time. I loved the head-hugging bob and if I was gonna go short, this cut would be it.
Perry also did maaaaaaj pink waves at one point, too.
And to think, just a few months ago, she was Kermit the Frog or Oscar the Grouch green. Come to think of it, Animal Pink is not the first time Perry has done a hair color similar to a popular character from a children's program...
Flashback! Perry also did Cookie Monster blue at one point. She seriously has Muppet and Sesame Street hair colors on lockdown. Maybe she can make her glorious return to the show and teach the kids about all the colors of the rainbow via her hair and she can do so by rocking Elmo Red locks?
Maybe going Animal Pink was her way of sending the message that she now sides firmly with The Muppets over Big Bird and the crew.
