11 Times 'Gone Girl's Rosamund Pike Blew Us Away With Her Outfits, In Honor Of The Film's Release
I have to admit, I've been a fan of Rosamund Pike's since Joe Wright's Pride and Prejudice first came out in 2005, so I couldn't be happier that she's suddenly, nearly a decade later, getting her "big break" as the lead of the much-anticapted Gone Girl (heck, she's already getting Oscar buzz).
Anyway, as an upcoming It girl, there's a lot to look forward to from Ms. Pike red carpet-wise. The press tour for Gone Girl has just begun, and we're sure to be seeing a lot more of our new style crush. So, in celebration, let's take a look at some of her best style moments until now.
In Christopher Kane at the 'Barney's Version' New York Premiere
Galaxy prints are almost always a win in my book. See also: Peter Capaldi in constellation-printed Paul Smith.
In Victoria Beckham at 'The World's End' World Premiere
The neon pink sandals and the excited expression totally make the outfit.
In Mary Katrantzou at the 'Made in Dagenham' Premiere
Mary Katrantzou always has the coolest prints, doesn’t she? I also love this garden-printed dress Sophie Turner also wore to a Game of Thrones premiere.
In Alexander McQueen at the 'Jack Reacher' World Premiere
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the cut-outs, but her red carpet “posing” was so charming that I had to include it! (Lea Michele, take note).
In Giambattista Valli at the 2012 Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards
Classic bombshell.
In Giambattista Valli at a 'Jack Reacher' Fan Screening
I’m getting to be a huge fan of Giambattista Valli, between Lena Dunham’s hate-it-or-love-it Emmy dress and the brand's gorgeous Milan Fashion Week florals.
In Erdem at the 'Jack Reacher' Seoul Press Conference
Her more laid-back style is great, too. Don’t you just love that sweater?
In Dior at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars Party
A couple years ago, everyone (Natalie Portman and Jessica Chastain, to name a couple off the top of my head) was wearing some version of this Dior gown. I’m not complaining; who doesn’t need iridescent rose printed ball gowns in their life? Plus, it totally reminds me of Grace Kelly’s dress in Rear Window.
In Christopher Kane at a Private Gallery Show
Stylish and just the right amount of edgy.
In Tom Ford at the 2013 Elle Style Awards
Red carpet-worthy lady-suits can be tough to pull off, but Pike’s got it down to a science in this shiny Tom Ford number.
In Alexander McQueen at the 2011 BAFTAs
Perfect.
