When Will Her Third Baby Arrive?

by Rachel Semigran

Though Isla Fisher and her husband Sacha Baron Cohen are usually very private when it comes to their personal lives, the news that Fisher and Cohen are expecting their third child was confirmed by Us Weekly on Oct 1. A source close to Fisher stated that she is about three months along, so as for when Isla Fisher is due, the answer is pretty obvious if we judge by this. She and Cohen will be welcoming their (lucky) third around March. The London-based couple are already over-the-moon with their daughters Olive, 6, and Elula, 4, and must be thrilled to have a third on the way.

According to Us, Fisher was spotted with an adorable baby bump while out and about in London. Based on the size, it looks like the March due date could be exactly right. However, she and Cohen have yet to confirm anything, so we'll still have to wait to see when the third child for Fisher and Cohen will be welcomed into the world.

When Fisher was pregnant with her first child Olive in 2007, she and Cohen were very quiet about announcements. Rumors flurried for weeks after images of the actress with a small bump began to surface, and even after the birth of their first child, they didn't immediately confirm her arrival.

Sticking to their lips-sealed approach to pregnancy, the couple also remained private while Fisher was carrying Elula in 2010. Fisher was so intent on keeping her second pregnancy quiet that she didn't tell any of her co-stars or members of the production team while she was working on the film Burke and Hare. According to her co-star Simon Pegg, "I didn’t know what was going on. She didn’t look pregnant until the last minute. I saw her a couple of months later and she was like a balloon. None of us knew, not even [director] John [Landis] knew. She hid it well." The couple also kept the sex and name of Elula private until six months after her birth.

This time around it seems like Fisher isn't hiding her pregnancy when it comes to her current projects. She has recently pulled out of production for Now You See Me 2, which is slated for release in 2016. According to an inside source, "Production starts in November and she knew she wouldn't be able to do it." So for the next six months, Fisher will be focusing on her health and her family.

Cohen spent September in South Africa filming his latest comedy Grimsby which actually costars Fisher. The film, which is due out in 2015, is about the wild soccer hooligans of Grimsby Town.

It looks like 2015 is shaping up to be a very busy year for Fisher and Cohen! Congrats!
