Active Shooter Inside Canadian Parliament Building

Downtown Ottawa is on lockdown after at least two shooters attacked Canada's Parliament Hill on Wednesday morning. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reports one shooter has been killed. The Toronto Star confirms the unidentified Canadian soldier shot in front of Canada's War Memorial has died in a local hospital. Shots were also fired in the Canadian parliament building, and the Associated Press reports shots were also fired in nearby Rideau Centre Mall. At least one shooter is still at large.

The Toronto Star reports a parliamentary guard has also been injured, and local hospitals have received three patients thus far related to the shootings.

ABC World News reports a spokesperson confirmed that Canada's Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, is safe.

Ottawa police confirmed they had received calls reporting shots fired at 9:52 a.m.
