Gay Porn Actors Respond To Mean Tweets

In perhaps the only video they'll produce that is appropriate for viewers under the age of eighteen, Men.com, a popular gay porn website, has released a hilarious video showing their male models responding to mean tweets about their work. As we all learned 10 years ago when we got our first Livejournal pages, the internet is a black hole of rude comments people are all too comfortable sharing from behind the safety of their laptop screens, but Men.com is just one more group following the lead of Jimmy Kimmel's "celebrities read mean tweets" segment and throwing the haters for a loop. That's right: We can now harness the power of the internet to turn the hate stream into something funny to watch.

Because the "insults" in this video are, of course, ridiculously shallow and have nothing to do with the actual character of any of the male models they targeted, which is what makes their reactions even more priceless. I'm genuinely concerned Dirk Caber, in particular, out-sassed the mean tweeters so hard that he broke the internet, which would explain why mine has been running so slowly today. When someone writes, "Dirk Caber looks like the porn version of Papa Smurf," he looks himself up and down and says cheerfully, "Someone's gotta work on the lighting."

What I really applaud about videos like these is how humanizing they are. It is easy to think of things that you put into the void of the internet as impersonal, because when you type something it disappears and odds are you'll never see it again. But there are very real humans with emotions who read those things about themselves, these ridiculously ripped and well-coiffed men included. Kudos to them for being able to take most of these in stride, and even for sticking up for each other in a few total bro moments. You can watch the video below:
