Miles Teller's Next Movie's All Lined Up

by Alanna Bennett

He seems to crash back into our lives every year around awards season, and now Miles Teller is lining up his next gig: Teller's in talks for The Only Living Boy In New York, in which his character will become entangled with his father's mistress. With the right treatment this sounds like the type of movie that could insure that Teller's place as an Indie darling isn't going anywhere in the coming years.

The film, which will be helmed by Amazing Spider-Man's (very appropriately named) director Marc Webb, doesn't have an expected release date or even year yet, but it'll be a return to indies for both Webb and Teller. Teller never exactly left the indie circuit ( Whiplash has been buzzing lately), but with Fantastic Four filming wrapped and the second Divergent film underway he's definitely joined Webb (who also directed (500) Days Of Summer) in the franchise leagues.

Fury and Perks Of Being A Wallflower star Logan Lerman was reportedly attached to star in the film a few years back, but things have retooled. The film will be written by Allan Loeb, whose previous credits include Jennifer Aniston flicks The Switch and Just Go With It.
