What Does JWoWW Know About Fashion? Her Guest Judging 'Project Runway' Isn't As Surprising As You'd Think

Of all the guest judges to appear on Project Runway, did you ever think that Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi would be two of them? Their hit reality show Jersey Shore didn’t exactly put them in the best light fashion-wise — what with the half-falling-off swimsuits and rather revealing mini dresses. I certainly didn’t understand it at first. But once I realized how long ago the fist-pumping phenomenon really was, I remembered how much the two have matured since then. Jenni had her first daughter in July, and the pregnancy did wonders for her character. And further than that, her style has improved considerably. So much so that I think she’ll make for an unexpectedly amazing PR judge.

When the dynamic duo returns to the screen the night after the Season 4 premiere of Snooki & JWoww, Jenni might have some actual constructive fashion advice for this group of Runway All Stars.

She & Snooki Make Triple the 'PR' Baby Bumps.

When the pregnant duo was invited to the set as guest judges, Project Runway hormones shot through the roof. All Stars host Alyssa Milano was preggers with her own baby girl Elizabella Dylan Bugliari when the season was shot, so JWoww and Snooki’s presence only added to the cuteness. Just in case the “constructional” fashion is a huge flop, these three mothers-to-be will be right there to pick up the pieces.

She Launched "Filthy Couture" — Her, er, Fashion Line.

A Jersey girl myself, I know JWoww became known up and down the coastline for her unique ability to take brand-named clothes and rip, bleach, dye and shred them to make them her very own. Realizing she had created her own style, she launched “Filthy Couture,” a strictly Jersey-girl line complete with sexy but edgy dresses and swimsuits. Don’t like her line? She doesn’t care. Jenni told MTV she had no intention of designing for the masses. ”I don’t want it to appeal to everyone,” she said. “I want it to appeal to specific people.”

Her Maternity Fashion Was the Best.

Something about motherhood revolutionized Jenni’s look. In a few short years, her style completely evolved from what she literally dubbed “filthy” to one that is elegant and resolved. In June, she wrote to her fans that your style does not have to suffer just because you’re pregnant. Jenni never left the house without accentuating the baby bump with accessories like a cute fedora and some shades.

Her Stylist Can Solve Any Fashion Dilemma.

Cat Hutton dresses Jenni, writes some tips for her blog, and knows exactly how to “JWOWW-ify” any look. It’s possible JWoww’s fashion is so individual to her because her stylist has a seriously unique voice. She knows that orange is just NOT the new black when it comes to fashion trends and, like Jenni, prefers the color only in handbags, shoes or strictly in her cocktails.

She Never Leaves The House Without Confidence.

According to Jenni’s stylist, there is nothing more stunning on a woman than confidence, and Jenni most definitely has it. Even in her Jersey Shore days, you’ll remember that JWoww was usually just outside the drama unless she was defending a friend — and I have to chalk that up to her uncanny ability to consistently decide to be confident. She knows that weight, height, hair color and other qualities don’t matter if you believe you’re beautiful every time you wake up.

She's Always Done Her Laundry.

Whether you agree with me or not about her sense of style, you can’t argue that the girl is clean. Gym, tan, laundry, repeat — always.
