Is Bryce Dallas Howard Single?

The Jurassic World trailer was released on Tuesday and it looks all sorts of amazing. With lead actors such as Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, though, how could it be anything less? While we're accustomed to swooning over Pratt, his rockin' bod, and his too cute for words marriage to Anna Farris, it seems we're in the know about considerably less when it comes to his co-star, Howard. I mean, of course we all know she's the progeny of Ron Howard, but what about her personal life? Is Bryce Dallas Howard single? Is she married? Is she taking applications for a suitor?

Well, it appears that Howard has been married since 2006 if you can believe it. And to actor Seth Gabel (The Da Vinci Code, Fringe) to boot. Who would've thought a Hollywood relationship could be so low-key? Especially, when you consider that Howard's starred in some seriously high profiled movies such as The Help and The Village. In addition to being married for eight years, Howard and Gabel have two kids — a son, Theo, and a daughter, Beatrice.

According to The Daily Mail, Gabel and Howard apparently met while they both were students at New York University. She told the publication a sweet yet slightly embarrassing anecdote about getting together with her college sweetheart,

I had an enormous crush on him — he was gorgeous, and it was love at first sight, but not for him. I basically stalked him, there was no interest, and then I called him at a really inappropriate hour in the middle of the night and asked him out for coffee.

So, while maybe it wasn't a fairytale or the most romantic of beginnings, it's sort of endearing that she was the one to pursue him despite being discouraged. After all, that sort of tenacity speaks to their now long-standing marriage. It's common knowledge that being married with children is difficult. But being married in Hollywood is a whole other ballgame that they seem to be navigating just fine.
