Since Katy Perry is in Australia at the moment, she's been missing all the major American awards shows. The USA isn't the only country handing out trophies however — Katy Perry attended the Aria Awards on Tuesday, wearing two amazing, all black ensembles. Last week, Perry issued a few inflammatory tweets about the paparazzi, who were trolling her while she was trying to enjoy her time on the beach, but the pop diva didn't let that noise and aggravation put a damper on her spirits or her style. While she may have donned dark colors from head to toe, Perry's looks were anything but gloomy.
On the red carpet, Perry wore Aussie designer Jaime Lee. When in Oz, get dressed by an Oz designer, right? That's how Perry showed the love and that she wasn't sour on the country as a whole just because of the annoying paparazzi. The two-piece outfit with a halter neck was embellished with ruffles in the front, with the sheer side panels showing off sidebum (which is totally a trend BTW). Perry didn't show off too much of her tight tummy, which made the look even sexier. It's all about the strategic peek-a-boo.
Perry added some color to her look with her berry lip stain and her Prince-like purple heels.
She also wore her hair pulled back with a thick, bowed headband that blended into her black locks.
Her red carpet posing game was so, so strong.
