When Will 'GoT's Season 5 Trailer Be Released?

So, unless you've been living under a rock all day (or, and I sincerely hope this isn't the case, stuck at an airport or train station or something with delayed travel plans?), you likely know by now that Game Of Thrones finally released the first teaser for season 5. It was brilliant, of course — every second of that thing was a rush to watch, and, personally, it just left me wanting more. The only downside happened to be the fact that the amount of seconds in the teaser were scant at best: The thing only ran for 10 seconds, and all of the clips that were shown were of things that we'd already seen in previous seasons. Like I said, still great, but a gal needs more than that. So, that raises the logical question: When will the season 5 trailer for Game of Thrones be released?

Unfortunately, the answer is not so logical. In fact, there isn't one, yet — HBO hasn't set a date for when the season 5 trailer will hit the Interwebs, much like they gave no warning that they planned to drop this short teaser on their Twitter page today. It looks like we're going to all have to grin, bear it, and just wait — something that almost feels foreign in this millennial day and age where everything is instant, all the tim.

However, don't look so disappointed just yet: There is a silver lining. Though HBO released no hints about when the season 5 trailer for GoT will drop, they did refer fans to a mysterious website, titled threeeyedraven.com, where everyone can sign up for something called "The Sight" using their Twitter account or mobile phone number. It's not clear what "The Sight" actually is going to be, but, considering the fact that in the show, the term is used to describe Bran Stark's visions of the future, I have a feeling it's got something to do with seeing the future — aka, the trailer for season 5. Just a hunch, y'know?

Until we find out more, though, it looks like there's not much we can do other than sign up for The Sight and wait. So, make the best of it: Eat lots of good food on Thanksgiving, fall into a turkey coma, and, when you're cognizant of your surroundings again, you can check out the Game of Thrones season 5 teaser a few more times below.

Winter is coming, guys...just, eventually.
