'House of Cards' Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed

by Lindsay Mannering

The turkey may be forming that weird, clear jelly in the fridge right now, and the amount of fear and loathing you have about drinking too much in front of your parents may be soaring, but fear not: there's still a reason to give thanks. Netflix just announced the House of Cards Season 3 premiere date and it's February 27, 2015. Two weeks after Valentine's Day, you can cozy on up with Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright for all the political backstabbing your poor heart can handle. Just how many episodes there will be remains to be seen, but House of Cards Season 1 had 13 episodes and so did Season 2. But, as I'm sure you know, they're called chapters, not episodes. I'm positive we can expect chapters 27 to 40 to be just as amazing as the first 26.

There's still a lot of mystery surrounding Season 3, but there are a few theories you'll want to know about. Spoilers ahead, if you're not yet caught up. One, will Stamper live? Michael Kelly told HuffPost Live that not even he is certain of Stamper's fate. And two, will Underwood finally bite the bullet? The conniving politician certainly has his fair share of enemies. And finally, will we get more rib eating scenes? Please?

All your questions will be answered on Friday, February 27.
