10 Reasons MAC x Philip Treacy Will Be Amazing, As Told By Some Of The Craziest Hats In Existence

If you've seen an ultra-fabulous hat out there on the red carpet (or at a certain royal wedding, ahem), chances are it was designed by famed Irish milliner Philip Treacy. His designs run the gamut from classically classic (see: Duchess of Cambridge) to pure insanity (remember Lady Gaga's giant lobster hat?), and just about every single creation is kind of genius. And guess what? If you've always secretly wanted a Treacy hat but were stymied by the luxuriously restrictive price tags, now might be the time to get in on the action: Philip Treacy for MAC is coming soon!

The collection (which is inspired by three of Treacy's own hats) will be available in April — and there's another high-profile, high-fashion collab for MAC in the bag (what with Giambattista Valli and Prabal Gurung, the brand is on a definite roll). Anyway, Treacy's kind of the perfect fit — I'm so excited to see how his ultra-creative sensibilities combine with MAC's famed boldness and daring use of color. So, without further ado, here are 10 hats that portend the amazingness to be!
