Solange Wore Another Cape And It's Perfect

Dare I say it, but she might be about to upstage Beyoncé. And that's saying something, because, well, Beyoncé is Queen. Duh. But Solange Knowles made her first post-wedding appearance, and rocked another amazing cape, giving her stylish sister a run for her money. So she pretty much wins capes forever and no one else should be allowed to wear them but Solange, k?

Knowles attended Art Basel in Miami Beach on Wednesday and followed up her flawless caped wedding dress with another take on the flowing fabric. At the IWC Schaffhausen’s Timeless Portofino event, the 28-year-old wore lemon yellow silk separates, a strapless top and cropped skinny trousers, and topped it off with a ruffled floor-length train and some gold, Paige Novick jewelry. Her look was sunny and fresh, perfect for the Miami climate, and she accessorized with golden Stuart Weitzman strappy sandals and bangles. With her loose curls and minimal make-up, she was all kinds of glowing.

After having one of the most fashion forward weddings of the year, Solange is showing no signs of stagnating, and, if possible, she looks even more fierce post wedding. Normally, over-doing an avant-garde trend like this would probably be obnoxious to me, but in this case — bring on more capes, Solange! You just kill them.
