In the world's cutest, yet not-so-surprising, news, Carrie Underwood belts out tunes to her precious little baby bump. I know, I know, I'm swooning, too. And, a little jealous, to be honest, because not only does this unborn kid get to inherent some of the best genes on the planet (powerhouse singer mom, professional hockey player dad, duh) he is also treated to a full on concert any time Underwood deems necessary. Which, according to her interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, is often. I can only hope the baby appreciates it, because I've paid big bucks to his mommy in concert. The only crazy part of this one-on-one show, is that Underwood is worried about not singing "good." As if that's even possible.
But, being a first time mom, I'm sure she's just worried she's doing everything right from taking her prenatal vitamins and going to Lamaze classes, right down to making sure she can hit all the right notes in every and any lullaby. I'd like to quell all of her baby fears, though, especially when it comes to singing, because I've been a mega fan of hers ever since I group danced with gal pals at the 8th grade dance to "Inside Your Heaven." So, here are some Carrie Underwood performances that prove that she never needs to worry about singing well because she always does.
"I Told You So"
Nothing like having the original singer tell you your cover was BETTER than their version.
"I Can't Make You Love Me" in Her American Idol Audition
F L A W L E S S.
What? No! I'm not crying... OK, yes I am.
Incredible. Her hair? Not so much.
Hits Medley at the 2013 CMA's
I'm giving a standing ovation to my laptop.
"I'll Stand by You"
Anddddd I have the chills.
See, Carrie? There's is absolutely nothing to worry about.
