Despite the fact that a decently sized potion of the population is not actually shaped like a department store mannequin, the existence of curvy girls seems to be a perpetual source of confusion to clothing retailers and the world in general. Fortunately, Buzzfeed's video "11 Struggles Curvy Girls Know Too Well" has you covered. They understand your pain.

The thing is that being curvy is actually awesome — I'm someone with definite hips and pretty generous bust and a rear end that will never be flat, and I wouldn't have it any other way. But then comes the time to go jeans shopping where all the sizes seem to max out just below my size and suddenly, I'm like "Am I overweight?" But no, it's just that whoever is in charge of this stuff doesn't seem to have been informed that some women have these things called hips. Which is something you'd think people responsible for making women's pants should really be made aware of, but alas.

And don't even get me started on that gap in the back. And how is it even possible for a pair of pants to pinch in the front and gap in the back?

Unfortunately, of course, jeans are not the only item of clothing to pose challenges for curvy girls. Nor are clothes the only things that people without a sizable bust or booty are able to fit into that are just off limits to the rest of us.

It's hard being a curvy girl.
