Givenchy Is All About Fierce Leather in 2015 Ads

Givenchy's ad images of late have been seriously unforgettable. The latest Givenchy Spring/Summer 2015 campaign images (and the collection) are fierce, but in a totally different way than Julia Roberts' Givenchy ads were fierce. Roberts rocked minimal makeup and wore boxy menswear in her delightfully masculine ad photos. However, the campaign's lesser-known but equally as beautiful models, who were also shot by Mert and Marcus, are decked out in lots of leather. They looked like bold but stylish biker babes who were resolute yet sultry.

The brand's Riccardo Tisci, who is BFFs with and often dresses Kim Kardashian, has such a distinct point of view for 2015, which you can see in the ads starring both Roberts and these monochromatic models.

There's lots of black, lots of leather, and leaves, the latter of which is a harbinger of fall, not warm weather, but who cares? The photos and the clothes will leave a mark on your grey matter.

The grommets and peek-a-boo lace certainly elevate this LBD, while the over-the-knee leggings x boot x heel combo adds some toughness. The fact that the model is perched on a vintage motorcycle furthers the toughness of the images.

Tisci often refers to the "Givenchy gang" and these photos are no different. It's a gang of a totally different sort, though — one that is fashionably dressed and fabulous.

The lacing of the bodices is a punk take on the mid-1700s corset, while the leather pants and shoes are distinctly modern and almost futuristic.

There is such a level of badass-ness to these photos and the clothes and the images certainly portray strong women.

Overall, Givenchy is merging the past with the future with its campaign images for the S/S 2015 campaign, that's for sure.

What's better than the images, though, is the fact that the pieces are wearable, especially if rock chick chic is your thing.
