Dolce & Gabbana Employs Grandma In Cute Campaign

by May Sofi

The world (or at least I) have been patiently awaiting the new Dolce & Gabbana campaign imagery since Kendall Jenner debuted the stunning new line at their Spring 2015 runway show. The Spanish-inspired collection combines beautiful rose embroideries with lots of sexy black and red lace, for a beautifully romantic group of designs. Now, to make the line even more amazing, Dolce & Gabbana featured grandmothers in their Spring/Summer 2015 print ad campaign!

In what is probably the most adorable fashion campaign ever, D&G employs grandmas to model their incredible new accessories, including jewel-encrusted clutches and tiaras. The stylish senior ladies are part of a larger Spanish-style familial tale that the brand uses to tell the story of their new designs. The grandmas look astonishingly chic, donning swept back hair with large blooming roses emulating classic Spanish flamenco dancers.

Of course the campaign also featured traditional models (fashion hasn't evolved that much just yet) including the gorgeous Bianca Balti, and some hunky male models. The super chic teaser video draws from classic Spanish culture, culminating in a combination of traditional fanning, clapping, skirt waving, and even bullfighting. You will pretty much feel as if you're in in the heart of Spain while watching, which translates to mission accomplished on the brand's behalf.
