11 Golden Globes Party Snacks That Go Way Beyond the Usual Chips and Dip You Serve Every Year

Ready to watch the stars float down the red carpet in all their enchanting glory while you host your annual Golden Globes party? Excited to see what Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have in store for us this year? (Fey even hinted that her outfit would be “bottomless”... I don’t think she was talking about mimosas at brunch). The glitzy awards show will be held this Sunday, and if last year was any indication, we’re in for a crazy ride.

Whether you’re hosting your own Golden Globes watch party or snuggling up on the couch with your roommate to check out the soiree, there are a couple of essentials you need to have a successful night. High on that list is an abundant assortment of snacks. Don’t get me wrong — having a couple of bottles of wine on hand and a working Internet or cable connection are definitely necessary. However, having some delectable munchies around will certainly make every gathering a crowd-pleaser, even if the gathering consists of you and your cat Max (at least you know he won’t talk your ear off during the show).

There are salty, sweet, and even a couple healthy treats thrown in this mix, and tons of different flavors no matter what you’re craving. And while we can't wait to see who wins the Best Motion Picture award, we're also pretty darn excited to try the creamy zucchini hummus we have in the works for this Sunday, too. Just sayin'.
