Elle Woods Has Some Thoughts on Reese's Oscar Nom

No matter what your feelings are in regards to this year's not-so diverse Academy Award nominations, there can be no doubt in anyone's mind that Reese Witherspoon's Best Actress Oscar nom for her role in Wild was more than well deserved. (Note: if you have yet to actually see Wild, I highly recommend you do so ASAP. You won't regret it.) Of course, it's not as though the actress hasn't wowed us (or the Academy) with her talent before. In fact, if you recall, Witherspoon won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of June Carter in Walk the Line back in 2005. So to see her name in the running once more is certainly a joy to behold.

And while I'm sure Witherspoon herself is thrilled at the recognition for all of her hard work, I can't help but wonder what her Legally Blonde counterpart, Elle Woods, would have to say on the matter. I mean, if anyone can appreciate the importance of hard work paying off it's this girl, right? (Just think back to all the studying she had to do to get into law school.) But what would Miss Wood's actual response to Witherspoon's success be like? I just so happen to have a few thoughts on the matter…

First, She'd Play It Off Like It's NBD

An Oscar? Pshh, that's nothing!

But Then She'd Be Like Totally Psyched

*pats self on back*

Inevitable Dancing Would Ensue

She'd shake it like everybody's watching.

And Immediately Start Prepping for Those Red Carpet Interviews

#NailedIt

She'd Share Past Stories of Her Triumphs

I think we could all consider that a job well done.

And Cry Tears of Joy

Mascara be damned. You got nominated for an Oscar!

A Celebratory Mani-Pedi Would Be in Order

Because obvs.

She'd Try Working on Her Gracious Loser Face

I mean… congrats?

But Then Go Right For the Acceptance Speech

Good luck, girl. We're all rooting for you!
