Rosamund Wore White Again

by Sienna Fantozzi

Award season must be overwhelming for celebrities — with a show seemingly almost every week, how do you choose what to wear for each and every one? Well, going with the same color palate for all of them is certainly one way to keep it simple. Rosamund Pike attended the Critic's Choice Awards on Thursday night, and she wore white again. Basic? Maybe. But stunning? Absolutely.

Pike wore a white, embroidered Valentino skirt with a sleeveless, turtleneck top to the Los Angeles awards show, fresh off her white Vera Wang gown she wore to the Golden Globes on Sunday. And not only are both looks white, but they are both floor-length, flowing, and ethereal. But hey, she's a girl who knows what works for her.

Though the Gone Girl actress is a classic beauty (modern Grace Kelly, much?), her red carpet choice just leaves me wanting more. The skirt is exquisite, and the sleeveless turtleneck is actually a pretty chic way to bring winter fashion to a warm climate, but her severe middle part and pulled back hair make the overall look a little drab. If she had her hair down, like the Globes, or maybe loosely tousled á la Sienna Miller, it would liven this up a bit. We all know you can do better, Rosamund.
