Mulberry Has A New Muse

by May Sofi

British fashion brand Mulberry and model of the year Cara Delevingne have had a longstanding relationship. For the longest time, the spunky supermodel has been the face of the luxury fashion house, fronting any and all campaigns and even collaborating on an exclusive collection. This now seems like a thing of the past, however, because Georgia May Jagger is the face of Mulberry's Spring 2015 line. Looks like Cara D got the boot.

The budding supermodel, and daughter of Mick Jagger, is slowly climbing the popularity ladder. She boasts collaborations with top-tier players in high fashion like Chanel, Versace, and Miu Miu — pretty impressive track record for a 23-year-old. Her recent ads for Mulberry feature the famously gap-toothed supermodel posing with various handbags from the Spring collection with a quaint little country house as the backdrop. The whole thing has got a very boho-chic earthy vibe, complete with 70s type hair and blooming flowers all about. According to WWD, Jagger was meant to be depicted as if on “an impromptu photo shoot set up in a country house.” Mission accomplished.

Although Jagger technically replaced Delevingne as Mulberry's muse, I imagine Cara is happy for her fellow Brit fashion friend.

I mean, they are totally BFFS.

Either way, the ads really are stunning.
