Kenya Moore Ignores Warning From NeNe Leakes

by Kenya Foy

Well, here's a clear-cut case of Bravo-lebrity shade-throwing gone wrong. Currently, Kenya Moore is delivering her own special brand of drama to the Celebrity Apprentice boardroom, but her shady quips against NeNe Leakes may land her in a courtroom. The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars' attempt at forming a friendship didn't last very long, and as a result they've made an art out of bashing one another, but apparently Leakes no longer wants to participate in any Housewives games — that is, not if they involve her former beauty queen foe. On Tuesday, Moore shared a cease-and-desist order from Leakes on Instagram while claiming that someone from her co-star's camp was responsible for issuing the formal warning asking Moore to stop the trash-talking.

A portion of the letter reads, "Your postings on BravoTV have been false, malicious and ostensibly made with the intent to cause damage to her reputation by exposing her to public hatred, contempt and ridicule, and injuring her in her trade and/or profession." Yikes, that sounds scary, but Moore was too busy being fabulous to be perturbed.

She basically brushed the letter off with the virtual equivalent of her infamous hair flip-twirl combination when she captioned the post, "I guess this is @neneleakes way of saying happy birthday! #RHOA #HypocrisyAtItsBest #byegirl #SheTriedIt #SoNastySoRude."

So far, Leakes has yet to directly address the letter or admit that she issued it. However, around the same time Moore shared the letter, Leakes tweeted a vague message that read, "The Thirst Is Real! They need me for press because they can't get none." Since she's not exactly a peacekeeper, that tweet could've been directed at a number of her co-stars, but if she is in fact responsible for it, Moore should probably take her at word.Nearly one week ago, former Real Housewives of Miami cast member Joanna Krupa sued Brandi Glanville for slander related to remarks the RHOBH star made during an appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live. Clearly, the impact of the shots the Housewives take at one another doesn't stop when filming ends, and given Leakes' status as one of the franchise's highest paid Housewives, she might be able to throw some of her weight around to bring an early end to Moore's dirt-dishing days on Bravo. Then again, the attention Moore gains from this latest fiasco just might earn her a promotion.
