Budweiser's Super Bowl Ad 'Lost Dog' Just Convinced Basically Everyone To Get A Puppy

As expected, Budweiser's "Lost Dog" ad aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday — and, as expected, the genius advertising mix of an adorable puppy, a majestic Clydesdale horse, and an amazing cover of "I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by Sleeping At Last made us all cry like total babies. But, if you're anything like me, it also instilled another strange feeling that you may not have been expecting: The full on desire to adopt an adorable little puppy.

I mean, it's only natural — the cute little yellow Labrador puppy in the ad was separated from his horse BFF! He was lost in a strange city, and trapped outside in a little cardboard box during a massive rain storm! A wolf tried to attack him! That dog deserved all the cuddles in the world, and now, all I want to do is adopt a dog of my own to transfer those cuddles to. Judging by the massive influx of fans posting similar things on Twitter right now, I take it I'm totally not alone in feeling this:

(For those of you who are seriously considering getting a puppy, now — Petfinder is great site, with links to thousands of shelters and adoptable pets all across the country.)

Yep. Budweiser won, yet again.
