What Celebs Attended Johnny & Amber's Wedding?
Earlier Wednesday, the most shocking news ever broke: Johnny Depp and Amber heard got married, and they didn't even tell us. Was my invite just lost in the mail? What gives, Johnny?! But, alas — the a wedding did happen, because Depp and Heard have reportedly confirmed their marriage. Of course, congrats, are in order for the happy couple, but now, I'm sure there's pretty much only one question on everyone's minds now: If not any of us, who actually was invited to witness Depp's marriage to Heard?!
First, I suppose we have to admit we were kind of forewarned about the wedding, being that the two actors were engaged and there were rumors that they could possibly be tying the knot any day now — there were even some reports that a wedding was supposed to happen the weekend of Feb. 7! According to US Weekly, the premature marriage took place on Feb. 3 instead, though, and they're set to go to the Bahamas where their wedding was supposed to be in just a few short days for a second ceremony.
There's not much information out about this surprise ceremony — the couple is notoriously private, after all — and, sadly, it's not yet reported who, if any, celebs were present for the first ceremony. However, considering Depp and Heard have a lot of famous friends, it shouldn't be too difficult, with a little sleuthing, to try and figure out who was invited to this thing.
Yes, Us Weekly says that Steven Tyler, Mandy Moore, Marilyn Manson and Jerry Bruckheimer attended the engagement party, but that list could either have expanded or shrunk for the nuptials depending on just how calculated the whole "surprise" wedding thing was. Maybe Depp and Heard were just pulling the wool over our eyes and had this planned the whole time. If in fact they did, here's a guess of some of the famous faces that may have been forewarned and attended:
Tim Burton
Because where would beloved-yet-weird movies be without these two besties?
Helena Bonham Carter
Which could have been slightly awkward given her ongoing divorce from Burton.
Kate Moss
Because it's good etiquette to invite your exes.
Well, certain ones.
Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom
This is based solely on my Pirates of the Caribbean fangirl fantasies.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Heard's IMDb page lists the actor as a good friend and, I mean, he's an adorable addition to any party, no?
Seth Rogen and James Franco
It'd be sweet if these two attend their Pineapple Express co-star's wedding after spending a few months amid total controversy thanks to The Interview .
