Eva Mendes Is Launching a New Beauty Line

by Catie Keck

Actress, model, and mother of Ryan Gosling’s offspring Eva Mendes will soon be fronting a new beauty line. Partnering with cosmetics proprietor Circa, the line will comprise “133 richly pigmented skus — from foundation and lip and cheek stains to two-sided mascara, all in black and glass with antique gold packaging,” according to the Hollywood Reporter, adding that Mendes says it will cater to women of different ethnicities. “As a Latin woman, it was important to me that we create a line of products that work for all women and is accessible without compromising quality," she said.

Yahoo reports that each of the products will range between $8 and $15, a price range that will make it stiff competition to more established drugstore brands like Revlon and L'Oréal, and means that you can actually afford it! Mendes has a proven track record tapping the interests of the average consumer. Her line for New York & Co. last year received mixed reviews but ultimately sold well. And more recently, Mendes partnered with the company once again to design a line of affordable bridesmaid dresses, which launched late January. And with a finger on the pulse of the everyday shopper, Medes will no doubt prove herself in the realm of cosmetics as well. Yahoo reports that her Circa line will be available for sale in over 3,000 Walgreens stores and at Walgreens.com closer to the end of the month.

Go ahead and tack that onto the growing list of reasons we love her.
