Jill Duggar Is Officially A First-Time Mom!

Congrats are in order because we have another Duggar in the world. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard welcomed a baby boy named Israel David, People exclusively reports. After being over 10 days past her due date, the happy couple are now celebrating their first-born child. Born on Monday, April 6 at 11:49 p.m., Israel weighed 9 lbs., 10 oz. People also reports that "mom and baby are both doing well."

Duggar and Dillard announced their pregnancy in August 2014. Then, in September, they revealed their first child was due in March. Ever since then, the world and 19 Kids & Counting fans have been waiting impatiently to hear whether the couple had welcomed their baby girl or boy. Well, now we can add Duggar and Dillard's new arrival to the long list of Duggars, who, in my opinion, are really hard to keep track of. There's a lot of counting going on and I don't know how the family does it.

Anyways, there's no doubt that Duggar and Dillard will make great parents, especially since Duggar is training to become a midwife and has also helped take care of her brothers and sisters for quite some time now. I'm sure it will be somewhat of a relief to only have to take care of one child. That is until they have more, because you know they will.

As Duggar said, “I have loved having lots of brothers and sisters. Although Derick comes from a family with just one brother, both of us would love to have as many children as God will give us.”

Congrats to the couple on their exciting addition!
