Bobbi Kristina's Family Is Filming A Reality Show?
It's been more than a month since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bath tub, but unfortunately there have been few positive updates about her condition. Most recently, Bobbi Kristina was taken out of her medically induced coma, but suffered seizures after and is still on life support. There's no promise she will ever fully recover. I can't imagine what her family must be going through, especially after her father, Bobby Brown, canceled his Australian tour to stay at her bedside, but it sounds like lately, some of her family members may have had more on their minds than just Bobbi Kristina's recovery. According to a report from TMZ, Bobbi Kristina's family is filming a reality show — her hospital stay included.
As TMZ tells it, Bobby Brown's sisters, Leolah and Tina, his brother, and their kids, were already in production on a reality show about their lives when Bobbi Kristina's health crisis began. Although they reportedly don't film inside Emory University Hospital, where Bobbi Kristina is being treated, they do "have regular debriefs at home on camera" where they talk about her condition. There's no official word on whether or not this is actually true or not, but Leolah did take to Facebook recently to say that we should "stay tuned for the truth" coming straight from her.
If this reality show is actually happening, it will definitely be interesting to see how Bobbi Kristina's family is coping with such tragic circumstances, but we can't forget that what's going on is exactly that — tragic circumstances. Regardless of having our curiosity satisfied or not, it's a little messed up if he family is capitalizing on this sad situation, because it'll undoubtedly be a major draw when the series airs. Not to mention the fact that it's insensitive to Bobbi Kristina, even if she doesn't wake up to see the show come to fruition.
TMZ adds that, according to his lawyer, Bobby Brown is not a part of the reality show, and I can definitely understand why. Who wants to talk to cameras when their daughter is fighting for her life? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that good news will come out of this situation soon. This family definitely deserves it.
