Meet 3 Actors Who Joined Tom Hiddleston's TV Show

It may not be premiering until 2016, but Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie's TV show The Night Manager is already working hard on getting the rest of its cast together. Entertainment Weekly reports that in addition to the two British leading men, Olivia Colman, Elizabeth Debicki, and Tom Hollander will also star in the miniseries. The three new actors are pretty talented in their own right, but also much more unknown than Hiddleston and Laurie.

It's not been announced what roles they will take on, or how important their characters will be to the narrative. Regardless it's a big deal for the new cast members to star in a show alongside actors of Laurie and Hiddleston's caliber and star power.

But who are the new Night Manager actors? Their names might not be immediately familiar to you, but chances are you do know them from something. They've been in the business for years and have racked up parts in everything from successful British shows to American blockbuster hits. So in order for them not to be "unknowns" to the public anymore, here's what Colman, Debicki, and Hollander have acted in before. Now you can get to know them ahead of the show's start.

The 41-year-old BAFTA-winning actress has appeared in several big budget films like Hot Fuzz and The Iron Lady. But she's also a pretty consistent television actress on several popular British shows like Broadchurch, Mr. Sloane, and Rev. where she had recurring roles in all three shows during overlapping years. It's pretty impressive that she could act in several different TV shows at the same time. It's clear Colman is a professional, and I'm sure the show could use her wide array of television knowledge.

You probably know the 24-year-old Parisian actress from The Great Gatsby, where she played Daisy's friend and Nick's girlfriend Jordan Baker. Debicki has only been acting since 2011, but in that time has racked up an impressive resume, even landing a recurring role on the BBC show The Kettering Incident, which debuts later this year.

Tom Hollander

Though not as famous as his co-star Tom Hiddleston, Hollander has an impressive acting career all his own. At 47-years-old he's starred in such hits as the Pirates of the Caribbean series where he played Jack Sparrow's nemesis Cutler Beckett.

He's also acted in About Time with Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson and a number of television shows like Rev., where he worked alongside fellow Night Manager star Olivia Colman. In addition to having starred with Colman, Hollander has already acted with Hiddleston as well. Both of them had small parts in the 2001 TV movie The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, as well as the 2014 movie Muppets Most Wanted.

So yes, these actors may not be familiar names at first, but they have impressive resumes, experience, and camaraderie with the rest of the cast. I can't wait to see the series develop, how all five actors will factor in, and how the show will shape up. 2016 can't come soon enough.
