According to People, Kate Middleton and Prince William placed an ad in a local upmarket magazine called The Lady looking for a "discreet" housekeeper to assist them at their country home in the area. Housekeeper sought for a large family home in Norfolk. We are looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a large private house, and preferably within a family environment with dogs.
Sounds good so far! The ad goes on to explain that duties will include everything from "caring for and maintaining the home owners' clothing," to "purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house."
