Olivia Is An Eco-Friendly Goddess

by Sienna Fantozzi

Fashion, while sometimes thought of as frivolous, can actually be used to send a pretty powerful message. Olivia Wilde's H&M Conscious Collection campaign has been released, and the actress is expressing her hope that this collection will help to empower women around the world.

Wilde was named the face of H&M's Conscious Collection a few months ago, but now the images are actually here and they are both powerful and obviously stunning. The collection, which features pieces made from organic linen, hemp, and recycled polyester, was developed to promote sustainable fashion that's good for the environment and the people making the clothing. And Wilde couldn't have been a more perfect choice to front the campaign, given her passion for the issue. She said:

"I hope the collection empowers women around the world who love fashion but want to consume it in a more sustainable way. It gives them the chance to look their best, and also act responsibly. I also hope the rest of the fashion industry is watching. I think this is how all fashion should be."

The collection will be available online and in stores on April 16th, but for now, drool over the gorgeous ads (seriously, that tuxedo suit, though...).
