It's no secret that Jennifer Garner, the former Alias actress so many fans used to watch kickass on television, is usually considered the girl next door. We've seen it through her work, and we continue to see it in real life. Well, Jennifer Garner's love for her family and the down-to-earth, girl next door quality I can't get enough of exuded in an interview on Today. Now, I'm not talking about Garner gushing about husband Ben Affleck or their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Yes, she adores them, but Garner also can't help but tear up when it comes to her mom and sisters.

While chatting with Today's Savannah Guthrie, Garner began to cry when she saw a picture of her mom and sisters. The four women are featured in a recent issue of Southern Living and the actress was thrilled to share the spotlight with her family. Some might think a celebrity like Garner would want to be front and center, but, no, that's not who Garner is or ever has been. She said,

It makes me cry to see their faces, so I won’t look. There’s just nothing like sharing the spotlight or anything else with your sisters and your mom. It’s always fun for me to get my sisters dolled up and my mom… I can’t even take it, Today Show is too tough for me.

Who else adores Garner even more? I've always known she is one of the most down-to-earth and kind stars out there, but this just solidified it even more. She's been out of the spotlight for some time now, but I'm glad to see Garner is slowly making her way back into the public eye. Even if she is just doing interviews rather than starring as the lead in her own TV series, I'll take it. Garner can do no wrong wherever she is or however she's promoting herself, the causes she believes in, or just gushing about her family.
