On Wednesday, One Direction fans learned some news that would forever change their lives: Zayn Malik quit One Direction — for good. It's like Geri Halliwell leaving the Spice Girls all over again. Ugh. Anyways, Malik announced he's ready to live life like a "normal 22-year-old" and leaving 1D is the best decision for him — at least for right now. 1D fans are reacting quite passionately about Malik's departure, but how about his former band members? What do Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne think about Malik's exit?
Well, the four remaining 1D members reacted via Malik's Facebook departure statement, where they had nothing but kind and respectful words for their friend and fellow singer. They said,
We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour.
In addition to the "official" statement, have any of them reacted on social media? The guys are remaining mum about the news that is both shocking and sad, especially for die-hard fans.
