Apparently, these two Empire actors are making music off screen. According to Us Weekly, Grace Gealey and Trai Byers are dating. That's right, Boo Boo Kitty, aka Anika Calhoun, and Andre Lyon are seemingly a real-life couple! Reportedly, ever since their first meeting on the hit Fox drama, Gealey and Byers have been inseparable. Per a source who "confirmed" the news to Us,
They started seeing each other during the shooting of the show. There was an instant attraction, people working on the show are aware about it. When they all hang out together they'll cuddle and give a kiss, but it's nothing obscene.
Another insider said the two are trying to keep their reported relationship quiet. TMZ is also reporting similar news, especially after receiving footage of Gealey and Byers attending a wedding together, where they acted all lovey dovey.
Of course, this is all pure speculation, but I think Empire fans would be on board with the real-life romance, as long as it doesn't disrupt the show in any way. Plus, they make sense as a couple.
