These Stuart Weitzman Heels Fight Cancer

Stuart Weitzman, the luxe shoe brand known for gorgeous, want-to-wear high heels, is stepp up (get it???) for a great cause. Stuart Weitzman's Legwrap gladiator sandals help fight cancer, and I think the brand needs to send a selection of its Legwrap sandals to Angelina Jolie, stat. While Jolie revealed her decision to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed due to a predisposition to cancer, which informs and empowers women in similar circumstances, the Weitzman brand is right there with her, indirectly so.

These dangerously sexy strappies are not only fashionably fierce. Yes, they will force all eyes to focus on you when you waltz into a room while wearing them. But they have a higher purpose. They are like sexy warriors who do their part to stamp out cancer.

All proceeds from the shoes benefit Dr. Marsha A. Moses' cutting edge research on all sorts of cancers, including those that effect women, like ovarian and breast cancer. Moses' research focuses on the growth of new blood vessels, according to the press release.

Here's everything that we know about these amazing-on-many-levels shoes. I can't think of a better reason to be a clacker for good. Clack, clack, clack, and help stomp on a disease that effects us all in some way, shape, or form.

1. Four Hues

The sandal has been created in four supremely limited edition colors. There's gold sparkle lame, sol suede, lipstick suede, and navy antique denim.

2. Investment Heels

The shoes are $498, which isn't cheap, but look at it this way — they are investment pieces. They will not go out of style, since strappies are timeless and these will look hawt with any mini. So the cost-per-wear will be pennies if you don them often. More importantly, they benefit charity, so don't forget that, you heel-sporting diva, you!

3. NYC + L.A.

Shop the heels online and or at the brand's boutiques in NYC and Beverly Hills.

4. Third Time Is The Charm

This is a renewed partnership, as it is the third time Stuart Weitzman has worked to raise money for the Boston-based Moses' groundbreaking work. Previously, proceeds were donated from the Stuart Weitzman Young Hollywood Cares Collections.

Clack against cancer, for sure!
