Kerry Washington Attended The 'Actors on Actors' Series Wearing Flirty And Feminine Giambattista Valli With A Dark Edge; Shows Us How To Do Spring Without Pastels

Spring may be all about the flirty and the floral, but that doesn't mean you have to go full on pastel. Kerry Washington attended the Actors on Actors series on Saturday in a ruffled, feminine frock that managed to still feel cool and modern. If there was ever a celebrity who literally looked 100% perfect every time she walked out on a red carpet, this is it y'all.

The 38-year-old stepped out for a taping of Variety Studio Actors On Actors in Los Angeles in what might be my favorite look of hers since Washington's pink Miu Miu Oscar's dress. The Scandal star wore a black, sleeveless top with a ruffled neckline and white polka dots, tucked into a short, dark gray skirt with coral and white floral embroidery, both Giambattista Valli pre-fall 2015. With matching coral, lace pumps and a bright, pink lip, Kerry somehow managed to wear the most feminine color with the most feminine textures and prints and still bring a bit of an edge to it. The dark black and gray tones keep the outfit from looking too Barbie-doll, but the patterns and pops of pink make it seasonally appropriate, and just all kinds of pretty and fun.
