The 'Suicide Squad' Cast Gives You New Squad Goals

by Alyse Whitney

Prepare to see more celebrities wearing sweatpants than you've ever seen before. That's basically what happened in the first Suicide Squad cast photo, showing an all-star lineup of villains posing in their comfy clothes and taking squad goals to a whole new level. If you didn't know they were making a movie, you'd probably caption this picture: "Celebrities Gather For Pick-Up Basketball Game, Wearing Fifty Shades of Grey." But since they are making an awesome movie, let's break down who's who instead.

We already knew who was in the movie, but seeing Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), and Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg) all together is pretty epic. Unfortunatey, Jared Leto wasn't pictured, but we did get a glimpse at his shocking transformation — goodbye, man bun — on Instagram recently to tide us over. Maybe he was the one snapping the photo?

There are also three familiar faces whose roles haven't been officially announced: The Mindy Project's Ike Barinholtz, True Blood's Jim Parrack, and Big Love's Adam Beach. Rumor has it that they will play Hugo Strange, Deathstroke, and Ravan, respectively, but director David Ayer didn't confirm any news when he posted the table read photo. Guess we'll have to wait until Aug. 5, 2016 to find out... or whenever the next cast picture leaks.
