How To Try The New Starbucks Frap For Cheap

No one knows how to break the Internet quite like Starbucks; all it takes is the announcement of a new drink, and bam — the crowd literally goes wild. Such was the case with yesterday's news of the brand new Frappuccino that's set to make our summer a whole lot more interesting… but where can you get the Starbucks S'mores Frappuccino? Or perhaps more accurately, where can you try it at a low cost to make sure you like it before you invest in an entire cup of chocolate-y, marshmallow-y, graham-crunchy madness? Three words: Starbucks. Happy. Hour.

First things first: The S'mores Frap will be available in Starbucks stores everywhere, so no matter where you are, it'll be easy to get a hold of. Second, you can, in fact, give the new drink a shot for cheap thanks to the aforementioned Starbucks Happy Hour. Although the 'Bux has offered happy hour-type promos in the past, this one is special in that it's specifically a Frappuccino Happy Hour: Speaking to Bustle via email, a Starbucks spokesperson confirmed that during Frappuccino Happy Hour, Starbucks fans can nab Frappuccinos in any and all available flavors (even the new one) for half price. The promo runs for 10 days between May 1 and May 10 — just in time for you to try out the S'mores Frappuccino, which launches on April 28 — from 3PM to 5PM each day. And hey, guess what? If you're a Starbucks Rewards member, you get an extra hour to take advantage of it between 5PM and 6PM.

Yes, Emma Stone. Yes, it is.

In case you missed it yesterday, the S'mores Frappuccino is Starbucks' seasonal summer offering for 2015; it's a layered drink, interestingly, consisting of marshmallow-infused whipped cream and milk chocolate sauce, a blend of graham, coffee, milk, and ice, a little more marshmallow whipped on top, and a graham cracker crumble. Not bad, right?

So, mark down these very important dates on your calendar: April 28 for the new Frap's launch date, and May 1 through 10 for Starbucks Frappuccino Happy Hour. Yum!
