Khloe Kardashian's Sunscreen Tip Is Important

by Hayli Goode

Although she gives Kris Jenner plenty of sass on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it turns out that Khloe Kardashian picked up beauty tips from her mom, so they must be kinda-sorta close. Sure this family has its quirks, but these two are just like any other mother-daughter duo that bickers and shares memories and beauty hacks.

Kardashian shared with InStyle magazine that Jenner was "great with teaching us beauty and skin care stuff. I think this is kind of a traditional one that everyone tells their kids, but she always told us to never go sleep with makeup on. And to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize," Sure, these are fairly typical beauty tips, but I think it's so sweet to hear her giving her mom some credit.

In addition to moisturizing, Kardashian stated that she developed her own beauty tip based on her mom's advice. "I put sunscreen in all of my cars and I make sure to apply sunscreen every time I’m driving because your hands are on the steering wheel and they’re constantly in the sun. You don’t realize how much your hands are going to age," she told InStyle.

Of course, I have heard of moisturizing your neck and keeping your elbows from cracking, but I had never thought of keeping sunscreen in your car for when that light hits you hands at just the right angle. Take a look at some sunscreens that would be great on-the-go.

Not only is it a sunscreen, but it's an anti-aging lotion, which also covers brown spots and wrinkles.

Supergoop!® Forever Young Hand Cream with Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 40

What's better than SPF 30? SPF 40! Not only will this hand cream protect you skin from dryness, but it also has a surprisingly high SPF for just being for your hands. The product was featured in Birchbox.

"Luckily, we don’t have to accept discoloration or accelerated aging as we get older — as long as we have this superluxe hand cream in our bags. It protects the delicate skin on the backs of our hands from harmful rays while keeping it soft and nourished," says the product description on the site.

Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Hand Treatment SPF 30

I'm personally weak when it comes to Garnier products. I haven't met one that I didn't love and accept as a new part of my beauty routine. This skin treatment is great in case you haven't kept your hands protected from the sun that well and are now feeling those dark spot feels.

Banana Boat Ultra Sunblock Lotion SPF 30

Aunt KoKo could be toting some kids around in her cars nowadays, and since they don't need the anti-aging, this Banana Boat SPF 30 sunscreen will work for everyone.

Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 70

Anything from Neutrogena is fine by me. That brand has protected my skin for years, so I trust that if I rub this lotion on my hands, my face and body will be safe from breakouts that the oils in sunscreens often cause.
