Kelly Osbourne Apologizes To Lady Gaga Over That Whole Weird Cake Thing
Ah, celebrity feuds: So frequent, often so incredibly silly. The Twitter fight between Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga was no exception — it was, after all, about which side of the ocean a cake existed on. But it seems that tiff is coming to an end, because Kelly Osbourne just apologized to Lady Gaga.
For those who have no idea what this fight even was, let us explain: Lady Gaga posed with Osbourne's mother Sharon Osbourne and a birthday cake in honor of Kelly's birthday. Kelly Osbourne did not take kindly to this, because screw you and your birthday cake, that's why.
Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the would away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar.
But it didn't stop there! Of course it didn't! She also posted a picture of the cake with the caption "#EatMySh-t #Hypocrisy," but that was immediately taken down probably due to the fact that it seems like a bit of an overreaction.
Regardless, the incident brought up a whole lotta bad blood between Gaga and Osbourne — Osbourne did, after all, call Gaga a "butterface" all those years ago — and Gaga wrote an open letter to Osbourne in which she called out her work on Fashion Police as critical, judgmental, and "rating people's beauty against one another."
Now Osbourne has apologized — not for the older comments or her work on Fashion Police, but for her Twitter rudeness. Witness:
So, there you have it. A kind-of-sort-of apology for a kind-of-sort-of feud. Sigh. So what celebrity fight's gonna crop up next? Has Miley fought with anyone yet this week?
